Why biomethane?

Energy dense

High fuel energy density, comparable to fossil diesel – outperforms all other alternative fuels, particularly battery electric and hydrogen, which don’t have the energy density to provide range for long-distance haulage, or energy intensive applications (very heavy transport, refrigeration, etc.).

Cost competitive

The cheapest low carbon molecule to put into a truck based on total cost of ownership (TCO).

Highly abating

Low or no CO2, NOx and particulate matter – customers can benefit from reductions in GHG emissions of up to 200%, due to the methane captured from manure feedstock, as well as reduced carbon emissions by replacing fossil-based fuels.
