ViGo's latest biogas digester, located in Lithuania has been injecting biomethane into the grid since June this year.
Earlier this month, we celebrated the official opening, attended by distinguished guests including officials from the Lithuanian Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Agriculture, members of parliament and district officials.
Once fully ramped up, the facility will produce 125GWh of carbon negative biomethane a year which will replace fossil-diesel in the heavy trucks fuelling at ViGo stations across Europe.
